Craft and Small Business Forums Can Offer Support to Craft Entrepreneurs
A good business forum with a dynamic and vibrant user base can be a fantastic resource, where new ideas can be discussed and others can share their own thoughts and experiences.
For the aspiring craft business owner, two types of forum will offer great value. Obviously craft forums will be of interest, especially any specific to the chosen craft, but the craft business owner should also seek out business forums, particularly those aimed at small businesses.
It is likely that business forums and some craft forums will have many members who have already been through the process of setting up a small business and, while many may not be craft based, their experiences will be similar. Learning from the mistakes of others can be a lot less expensive than learning from your own and most users of business forums are very candid and open about their experiences.
