Ecommerce Bytes have reported on a small change made by PayPal that is having a big effect on some sellers.

On the surface it seems a small issue - PayPal have changed payment notification emails so that the From field carries the email address service@paypal.com instead of the buyer's address. However, many sellers' systems rely on this field containing the buyers email address and this is causing them considerable problems.

PayPal's explanation that it has been done to improve the deliverability of their emails makes sense, but that will be small comfort to those sellers who have been impacted by this issue.
